Led by "family-famous" veteran pro guard Scooter Barry and "play-like-I'm-20" power forward Mark Smith, the Olympic Club Masters Team dominated the competition in Milwaukee - going 5-0 and taking the Masters division National Championship. Daddy's contribution made the difference in the semi-finals against Los Angeles... scoring 12-points in a row to go from down-2 to up-10; and then making 6-free-throws down the stretch to seal a 12-point win. In the finals, the O-Club led from start-to-finish - beating rival Multnomaugh Athletic Club from Portland.

Who knew Daddy's hoops glory would peak at age 41? ;o)

First Family Trip to Tahoe

A warm, dry, and anticipation-filled drive up to Northstar at Tahoe quickly gave way to a full-on blizzard, which dumped 37" of fresh powder on the mountain. The Matthews and Seuferts scrambled for ski-school reservations (for Bruce & Lucas) and sitters (for Megan & Niko age 1.) Colin braved the blizzard to drive two 1-hr round trips to pick up & drop off the sitter... The rest is captured here in photos and videos. Check it out!

Great night out for Mommy & Daddy

To mark his 50th and wife Jennifer's 40th birthdays, Daddy's OClub basketball friend Mike Cerchiai threw the best party ever at San Francisco's famous cabaret nightclub - Bimbo's. Mommy & Daddy were special guests and were among a select few to close the place at 3am. Beyond the standard OC hoops teammates & wives, other special guests included Robin Williams and tennis star/coach Brad Gilbert. A hefty sitter fee and a stumbling sitter-walk-home through the Lower Haight closed out the latest night since kid(s) arrived.
